Yes, I've done them before, and they should come with instructions. If not, feel free to ask and we'll get you all fixed up.

are there any types i should look out for as in not buy or are most brands good?

i also have a question about getting remote locks inside my car, like some switches or should i just not worry about it since its only an arm reach away.

what precautions or things should i look out for when installing or whathave you. i have never done this before, but am very confident i can do it, its just one of those things that i dont want to buy a kit and run into a problem and then get screwed on a kit or have to buy another, or or ...

just covering my rear

You might need relays.

Read about relays at the12volt.com

Buy Relays dirt cheap at parts express

I doubt you're getting actuators in the box for $80, it sounds like an add on to factory power actuators at that price.

Do you have a link to a page describing the kit, or at the very least a brand and model number?

Hmm. No instructions for download, and I'll bet it has on-board relays. Makes for simple installation. I'll bet that brain will fit nicely between the instrument cluster and the HVAC vent with some double-sided sticky tape.

Adding switches is always possible, but not always easy.

Most aftermarket kits, all you have to do is activate the drivers side by locking or unlocking that door either with the key, the inside lock, or a remote.

got it from Jason at A-PlusPerformance....there are no new switches..i bought the ones with the remotes, didn't program the remotes yet, but the way it works is you lock the driver side door, and the passenger door will automatically lock. You don't need new switches because the locks will work by themselves. The kit was pricy but they offer lifetime warranty, detailed instructions, and comes with 2 remotes. This is the kit i bought

this is the kit without the remotes

talk to jason at A-PlusPerformance...he will hook u up.

is this the same kit as the real autoloc kit? \

i would save some money going with ebay, but i dont know if the guy is just using the name or if it is really the same kit.

i will buy this week, so i need to know soon...thanks

ok it looks like the only thing in this auction that is autoloc is the actuators themselves. It looks like everything else is by some other unnamed manufacturer. you could take a chance but the electronics part of the system is the most important. is a few bucks worth having to replace it or fix it all the time. Just get the actual autoloc or spal kit.
