Thursday, October 20, 2005 9:03 AM
Ok I was listening to my stero the other day and my passenger front speaker started to get staticy. Its a pioneer and now everytime I listen to music it has this weird static in it. I changed settings to make music only come out of that speaker and it wasnt blown just staticy. Does anyone know whats wrong?

dont need something better to get a clean sound. have u pulled the speaker to look at it and check the connection? hook the speaker up to your left door speakers speaker wire and see if the static goes away, if it doesnt you know its the signal that is the problem. if u still get static you know its an issue with the speaker itself.

Right now Im running a sony X-plod head unit with pionee speakers in the front and xplods in the back. I have a kenwood 10 inch sub and the amp is built into that. I think I might have insurance on the speakers so if I do im just gonna blow them and get new ones for free. Thanks for the help!

If you blow them, warranty doesn't cover.
