just did this lil mod since i wanted to know that my car is locked when i walk away from it pressing the remote for lock. i tried finding the lo or hi beams for unlocking but to no avail , plus the hanyes manual doesnt even have the schematics for the horn for any reason! ugh.....any interested let me know
also where does the back tail lights wire go to fromt back to the front of the car? its not under the foot-side panel, i checked, anyone know where that wire is loomed? thanks in advance

I may be mistaken, but i think the wire is hidden in a loom under the pass. side door trim, or foot panel or whatever its called, i think that's where it is cause i also think the back speaker wire is in this loom also, sorry if i may be wrong but i tried

Are you looking for the tailights or brake lights?? if you are looking for the tailights just get them off the parking lights. It should be a brown wire in the driver kick panel for your year. If you are talking about the brake lights get that off the switch on the pedal. It should be the white wire coming from the switch. Hope that helps

ic, i'll try the parking lights out from under the driver kick panel. when you say the driver kick panel, are u talkin about the wire loom bunched together where the bottom of my door touches?

Yes it should be in there. I have an 05 so mine is in a different spot. But I looked it up on DEI and thats where they said it was at.

actually u'd need a relay to do the mod. i cant remember exactly what to wire on the relay cause im using and installed the DEI Viper 160XV security. if i rememver correctly i used the wires coming off the fog light wire right behind where the dash is and also took the blue wire(?cant remember) from the door locks on the driver side coming out from the door. for the DEI security i also tapped the fogs to blink in sync with the parking lights works great so far.

When I wired up my alarm, I wired it to one wire....which I believe was brown...it ran along door like others had said. Most alarms include a parking light wire designed to put out 12v for flashing so no relay needed, now I did need a relay for my trunk release.

That was for the parking lights, and the factory fogs turn on with the parking lights, so I both flash when armed/disarmed.
