i was driving yesterday listening to my stereo(in my 99 monte carlo) when my sub just cut off, i checked all the wiring, the fuses and nothing seems to be a miss. it was weird because i was in the process of rolling down my passenger window when it cut out, ive got an mtx 202 amp to a jl 15w0, the amp isnt getting hot or anything, does anyone have any idea why this is doing this?

if its not your wiring and you have it properly ran threw your firewall and grounded correctly check the connections of the sub inside the box,something could be coming lo0se,also that amp is far to small for that sub,and if its a dual voice coil sub and you have the sub ran at 2ohms i know for a fact that rt 202 is not 2ohm stable at 1 channel.....r u sure its not the amp? how long have u had the system?theres a very go0d chance its the amp going into protection mode
