I didn't have much luck searching the org for this Q to be A. I was hoping someone might have an idea for me. I want to put an after market deck in my glove box. That way no one can look in my car and go "oooo, bet that'd be real easy to rip out." But the toughest part of the whole thing will be controlling it. Reaching over every time I want to change stations or adjust the volume is just a little scary. I was wondering if there was a deck out there with the option for a hardwired remote. I guess I could always leave the glove box down when I'm driving, but that won't be so hot if I have a passenger with me.(ie my wife!) If I remember correctly, I believe Pioneer had an option for a hardwired remote if you had steering wheel controls for a certain model GM.(I can't remember clearly, it was a long time ago I found that out, and didn't need it so ignored it) If that option is still available, then I could just get the controls from a junkyard and wire the controls to my steering wheel (if possible) or just into the center console. Either way works for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Why to Civic children think they can beat a motorcycle?!?!
Sony has wired remotes, just see if it's an option on your head unit, also RF remotes will work without a wire

Do you know what Sony models? I'm not having much luck looking myself. I'll be stopping by my local install shop in the next few weeks to ask them. And I know RF will work, just didn't think there were any RF stereo remotes out there. Thanks again.
