I have some free time and some extra wire today, and would like to do this mod.

I apologize, because I know it's here somewhere, and has probably been asked a million times, but I did a search through both the exterior and electronics forums, and I checked the faqs, and couldn't find anything.

i know its here somewhere but......

pull back the drivers side carpet by the firewall near the pedals.........

look at the left wall of the car under the A pillar and you should see the bcm

unplug the center connector

locate the dark blue wire

cut it about 3 inches back from the plug

ground the wire coming out of hte plug that you just cut, theres a 1/2 inch bolt on the steering column that works great,

reassemble car and your done

i didn't even have to pull back any carpet or anything on my 04
