Yes I did search and tried everything I read in here.
ok here is my problem.. I just installed a voice amplifier and its having some noise... I believe its called "alternator noise " because when I accelerate the car, the noise increases...
I already had another amplifier for my subwoofers before this one(which its still installed ) and didnt had any noise at all..... The amp that I already had, has 1 set of RCA's output so Thats where I connected the amp that I just installed.... So I know that this amp that I just installed is the one causing the noise sinse when I disconnect the RCA's from the other amp, the noise stops....
The amp is a little old and It had some rust on the connectors.... I tried a bigger ground, other RCA's, a bigger power wire (from the power distributor ) and it didnt fix the problem...
I am thinking that the amp is bad, or maybe the connectors arnt making good contact ?
If you have any idea to fix my problem.... It may be usefull and it will be helpfull =)
thanks
the specs of the amp I installed are :
audiopipe GM-400 400W 2 ch @ 2 ohm each
I know that the amp sucks (I paid $20 bucks for it ), but Its better that my headunit, so I am keeping it
thanks
I need a new sig =(
get a ground loop isolator filter they are like 10 bucks at wal mart

1989 Turbo Trans Am #82, 2007 Cobalt SS G85
WILL THIS fix my problem 100% ?
I need a new sig =(
Make sure they are grounded to the same spot, with large gauge wire. Clean off the rust off the connectors, thats stupid in its own way. Make sure that the rca cables are run away from your power and ground. Should be at least a couple feet betweenthe rcas and power until they get to the amps. Make sure your ground is connected to a paint free spot. The ground loop isolator is a band aid, but sometimes its the only option. Make sure that everything in the system is connected properly before you get the isolator.
yeah, i am going to work on the rust to C if thats the problem
I need a new sig =(
A leaking coil pack (cracked and sparking to ground) or bad spark plug wires will make a lot of noise.
