Okay well i juss thought i fixed my jvc unit like 2 days ago my cousin was trying an amp and somehow blew like 6 of m fuses and messed up my jvc unit now i got it to work it ejects the cds and doesnt show me a red light anymore anyway my problem is this when i connect my stock unit it plays fine sounds okay but if i connect my jvc unit it turn on lights up shows it playing a cd but no sound is this the unit it self or could it be the adapter that burned or something ??

I had the same thing----Unit was on and playing, but no sound was coming out. Mine was under warranty, so I sent it back to get it fixed. Call JVC and they will give you a list of certified repair shops in your area.
