i havea 1 channel amp powering my single sub. would i be able to also run a set of component speakers to the same amp?
You could but they wouldn't sound very good cause you'd have no stereo sound, not to mention the amp is prolly set for low pass. Just pick up a cheap 2ch amp for the components.
