First impressions are this sub has the loudness of my old ported SX15 and the punch/SQ of any sealed box I'v heard....on ~700 watts
While my Viper d1200 is off for repairs my friend's truck is going into the shop to get some deer massacre damages taken out of the door and he took his system out. We dropped his PG Xenon 1200.1 in and OMG this sub freaking rocks. I listened to everything from dirty south crunk to techno to heavy metal. I have never been happier with a subwoofer install, partially because this one has been in the making for several months with alot of setbacks. One minor thing that I have noticed is I have a weee bit of port noise but that was expected and with the trunk closed you can't hear it from the front. I would highly recommend this sub to anyone who wants to play with the big boys of car audio, but with the budget of a broke college student, this sub is for you. I'll try to have some pr0n later this week, not very much, it's about equivilent to my SX but maybe with a little more. Going to play with it a little tonight and I'm going to raise the gain to play the amps full 1200 watts tommorrow....I'm happy.
Going to go clean the box and trunk now, alot of wood and metal pieces floating around that look like pain for the surround. :eek:
you dont' get a lot of noise with those skinny ports??

There not as skinny as they look, 1.5", but I get a little bit. But because its in the trunk it cant be heard unless you are in the trunk, which im not lol so its all good.
