If you cant find the right style fuse for the sixe you need, jsut buy a new fuse holder, easy enough to change.

As for the size... did the 80A fuse come with the Amp, or the wiring kit, or neither? What does the instructions for the Amp say to use?

I would double and triple check ALL your wiring and if you are sure nothing is shorting out try a 100A. If that blows, check your wiring again.

The AGU type fuse only goes up to ratings of 80 amps I believe. After that you have to switch to ANL. What may be happening is as you reach the upper limits of that type of fuse, it's as effective. You may only need to have an 80 amp fuse, but you should switch to ANL type. Add up the fuse ratings on the fuse(s) on your amp(s). The total you come up with is what the wire running to the amp(s) should be fused at.

dont buy a 100 amp AGU fuse(the round ones). They sell em, but the fuse holder isnt really designed to hold that much amperage. i ended up melting the fuse holder(BUT AT LEAST I DIDNT BLOW THE FUSE!). I think they're only meant to take up to 80 amp fuses. just buy an ANL fuse holder. i bought a dual holder and stuck 100 amp fuses in each one for both of my amps and i havent had a fuse problem since. plus the fuses look so cool, lol.

I got mine at an Audio store and it was like 30 dollars (it is a fosgate breaker) in my opinion it is worth the mony it just makes everthing alot easier and it will save you money in the long run because you won't have to buy those fuses any more, any audio place should have them

Curcuit breakers are the shizzle. I wanna replace all my fuses with them eventually. Any auto parts store will have them.
