when i cut them 2 wires should i be extending them at all with other wire when i use the heat shrink butt connectors if so what gauge
first, dont cut. strip the insulation, and solder it. i used 3m electrical tape, which will stick just fine. dont use connectors either, of any kind. dont extend the wires either.
