ok, i have a in dash flip out tv in my car and they put a antenna on my window to get tv reseption and was wondering would that also work for my radio. COuld i get rid of my exterior one or would i have to buya special one just for my radio also?

Well, yes you can, kinda.
I dont know if you can use the TV antenna, but you can remove your old radio antenna for a hidden antenna. However, the signal is never as strong as the mast style.
