well i am installing a system in my car and i am going to use the stock headunit for a while. well i tried to install my lineconverter on the rear speakers and i couldnt get a clean good signal back there. i am thinking its because of the stock amp. ok i can pull the stock headunit out and wire it back there but i need to get the wireing colors. can anyone help me with this? anyone have the colors, or a diagram, anything to help me out. thanks guys. i have a 02 ls sport cavy with the rds radio and the stock amp in the trunk. btw. thanks.
what do you mean by unclean signal? what's it doing?
well the sub was bairly on and the protect light came on and off like every second or so and it made like a buzzing noise in the sub also. and i know the amp and sub works because i tried the subs and amp in my friends car and it worked just fine. so i am thinking that its because of the stock amp in the car making the input signal to line converter way to high resistance because of the 4 speakr wires in teh rear. i installed a set of infinity speakrs in the rear and i figured out wich ones run the sub part of the 6x9 and the tweaters and i tried both of them as the input to the line converter and it did this on both of em....
you;ll have to get the signal from BEFORE it goes into the monsoon amp. then youll have no problems

yes i know that... i need to know what wire colors to tap into before the amp!

yea i know what what i thought. they gave me the schmetic diagram of all the different stereo set ups that came in the cavaliers in 02. i was impressed.... maybe they know there loosing business loll.....
