amp size?

my friend said he would sell me his mtx 10in subs(3 total) with the box for 100 bucks. only problem is he doesnt have an amp for them and he says he's blown his last couple of amps so he cant tell me what size amp to get. from what he said they can push between 1000 and 1200 wats. any suggestions on what amp(s) to get to push them?

Something from Hifoniks or Visonik will work great
Or something from DEI , JL Audio, Zapco , Crossfire if you got lots of cash

my buddy had that same setup with a 1200 watt audiobahn.

I have the Audiobahn 1200 watt r.m.s. amp..its great..in shovin 2 12" audiobahs and it sounds great..rather expensive though..the cheapest place to grab it from what ive seen is http://cardiscountstereos.com/catalog%20page.asp?Product+%23=A2150HCT
