Apexi i-moni...

Apexi has a new product called i-moni. it is a little gadget that plugs into your diagnostic port and mounts on the dash (or wherever you want), and it allows you to monitor 5 different engine functions...intake air temp, coolant temp, revs, and i forget the other 2. it allows you to monitor real time too...plus i think it has peek hold capability. supposed to sell for just under $200. anyways...it is made to plug into a ISO 14320 OBDII diagnostic port...is that the type of port our cars have?

LOL. i know WHERE the port is, however this item will only hook up to a particualr kind of ODB II port, a ISO 14320 type. says it should work with most 1996+ ODB II vehicles, so it will probably work with 3rd gen J's...i was just wondering if anyone knew for sure.

ISO = International Standards Organization...

Its the design that the port was meant to follow, and yes, this is an industry standard that we have. It was standardized so that each car didn't have its own plug type.
