Ipod compatibly headunits?

Ive been looking around and it doesnt seem like I have too many choices for headunits that allow you to integrate the ipod nicely into the functions of the headunit, alpine has a few, but I dont like their glide touch thingy, doesnt work in my opinion. Anyone have any reccomendations for a decent one with the option of integrating my Ipod? Im looking to spend 300 or so on the headunit alone. Thanks. Sorry if its a repost, dont ban me.

get one with an aux input i have a sony and my ipod goes right in and its not hard to change the actual ipod.. jus get one with an audio input you dont really need the adapter unless you want to see the name. The iPod actually looks really cool in your car ecspecially if you hide the wire looks real kewl.........

but alpine and panasonic and both ipod compatible with an adapter i believe

i think the new pioneer line has it too. yea, i'd prefer to switch songs via the headunit then have to mess with my ipod in the car. looks cleaner. i wonder if it works just like it would an mp3 cd with folders
