i have a 97 sunfire, and my buddy got me a 2k fire deck.......but i have no clue which wire is the ignition switch can somebody help me out her
Might be wrong but if the 2k deck has the info button for radio stations etc it probably won't work with you're older car.
I know my 2k cavalier deck wouldnt work with someones 95 or 96 car or something like that...could be wrong i never tried it personally they just told me they couldn't get it to work.

well the 00+ deck is a double din were the 99- is a din and a half so i would like to see that hack job your going to do to get it to fit
with the time/ effort/ energy/ money you'll waste trying to make it fit and work right, you might as well just buy a new head unit. if money is a problem, you can pick up a cheap cd player for like 45 bucks at walmart.
