anybody have any opinions? i have sony Xplod 6x9's, i kinda tend to look for other sony Xplod products, cuz i like everything to match. but i hear ppl say that sony Xplod isnt the best or w/e. so just wondering wat everybody else thinks and help me find an amp and a sub reasonably priced, for big sound. thanks (i like my techno music lol)

Sony isn't that bad. Yea they aren't the best but a lot of people trash talk the. I my self have 2 of the 12" Sony P5 subs. They are pretty nice for the price. Even my coworkers are shocked by how much sound my sonys put out. I say go with it. Put 10" subs in rather then 12"s. It will give you more of a tighter cleaner bass witch is better for techno.

thanks for the tips. i am currently looking on ebay, and i found an 8 inch sub and a 760 Watt Amp. would this be a good combo, or should i find a 10 inch sub?

yeah my old system was 2 sony 12's in bandpass box with a legacy 1600 watt amp, sound quality wasn't the greatest but it got surprisingly loud, peopel didn't believe it was sony's till they saw them because all you hear is sony is crap and this @!#$ hit preaty hard.....

then I bought a Full alpine type R system with alpine V12's amps to everything and realized how much sony really did suck... unles your used to highend stuff you'll be happy with sony, with all my alpine stuff I have now I could never go back to having sony

Kickers are fairly cheap subs....and good

ive had my 10 inch kickers for over 2 years and no problems.....with the ported box i put them in they knock loud, my friend with a W7 has complemented me on it saying it sounds louder in my car then it does in his....(also my cars alot smaller then his blazer but you get the point)

LOL...you're friend probably needs to put a little more power to that W7 then.
