ZEX Dry Nitrous Small Shot Question.
Sunday, May 08, 2005 1:17 PM
Okay, after blowing my first engine, I am stupid and am thinking of getting a ZEX dry kit to blow this one up, once again, I dont think much. I only want to run a 25 shot, seeing how it is dry and dont want to risk much or hurt my engine that only has 41K on it.

Does ZEX make a 25 jet or what is a list of jets they do, and how much and where do they sell them?

Also will a 25 shot hurt my engine that much?

Chris

I believe smallest is a 35 shot. I know for a fact that they do for NX but I dunno about a 25 shot. I'm running a 50 dry shot. As long as you're smart about it a 50shot will be fine, but even a 25 shot could mess something up. Just use all your safety precautions and check your Fuel Pressure and you'll be fine. Do your homework and you wont have any problems.

i think 35 is the smallest zex has. but like redassassin said if not used properly it can still cause damage.

With a 35 shot you probably won't feel much I was running a 50 shot and it just wasn't enough for me so i bumped mine up to 75 and it's great. But I also have an Ecotec Ran a 14.1 though with a bad launch.

if you blew up one motor already...maybe getting a wet-kit might be the best bet

Well, I've been running a 40-shot for over a year now and I think it's plenty powerful. I'm sure I'll bump it up a notch this summer, but so far, no complaints at ALL. She pulls like a mo-fo.

Well first I would not run a Zex kit. Yes you can run a dry kit and be ok, but I would go wet and be safe.

I don’t know how everyone can claim that wet is safer with all the people posting about puddling problems and people’s intakes blowing off I am not saying that one is safer over another, just saying they both have problems.
