if i run 16.80 now and spray a 75 zex wet shot what should i expect.
when i first ran my car at the track i ran an 18.1 what kind of mods do you have to be running that time and i can give you an approx time...

i ran a 17.70@76mph bone stock. since then ive done full exhaust and a air filter and removed all the seats except driver. no other mods. wat other mods can i do? im new to the cavalier because i got a 10 sec stang
id say high 14s.

really depends on what you want. start reading the Performance FAQ in the performance forum. that will get you started
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
lol that sh!T WILL BLOW HALF WAY DOWN THE TRACK
i hope not its my daily driver also its a 3 speed auto and 4 doors
MAN I WOULD GO WITH A 50 WET SHOT FIRST
itll hold i ran a 75 wet on my car and it was fine . ive got the 2200 with a 3spd also but mine is a coupe . i would say 15"s if i had to guess . i never ran mine on a track
13's or blowning it. wayhttp://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e175/slowfire99/100_0463.jpg
ok only 1 way to find out!
I wouldnt bother to run the shot on the car. its in your best interest to not spend money on that cavalier. A 2200 with a 3-spd auto? Its not worth it. Its a great car for a daily driver though, so enjoy it for what its worth.

what he said
im only gonna run it like once day a month or on nopi and other import events i have a mustang for the rest of the year. im hoping a 14.80 but you never know maybe i will b satisfied with a 15.40 and by the way wats the fastest 4 door 3 speed out there.
DONT LISTEN TO EITHER ONE OF THOSE STOOGES.
just because a engine isnt putting down as much stock as the others doesnt mean its useless. the 2200, weighs less than the other engines, and has many other advantages. the biggest contrictor on the 2200 is the head. get it port and polished and then run your shot.
btw do any of you know that adler ran a 2200 faster than most of you 2.4 and eco's have gotten.
anythings possible.
JBO'S Mr. 64.....
lol the 2200 is not lighter then the eco u dumb ass
plus his car is heavy peace
and as for that rustang I hope u have alot of work done cus I eat GT's for lunch in my eco

4real 4real sure?
Plus the 2200 is an Iron block........automatically stronger!

no @!#$ cast iron is heavy as @!#$ the 2200 needs to be retired and never thought our spoken of again.
lol 2200 = waste of time
yea the mustang runs 10's so u aint eatin this one
you are not going to run 14s... trust me... its going to be like 15.3s to 15.6s... Id say the only way to get a 2.2 or 2200 into the 14s on N2O is at least a 100 shot... and supporting mods to handle that...

I can't really say anything about the 75 shot, but if you're calling someone a dumb ass it seems like you would know the difference between peace and a piece.

ehhhhh, wouldn't hold that idea too high in your head! I have some times to show BUT I'm waiting until summer to just drop a whole shE BanG of surprises
I'll just say a bolt on 5-speed 2200 with medium to heavy mods( and 50shot) can get into the high 14s with a good driver.
Then I'll go on to say that same car with a 100shot can easily get down into the low-mid 13s with a good driver............But that's about all I'll say until summer!

and yes the 2200 does weigh less than the eco. and just because somethings not great when its stock doesnt mean that it cant be built into a machine.
like when your mom had you, did she tell the doctor to snap your neck cause you were going to grow up to be an oaf? no, she caused all of us to have to put up with your idiot remarks.

I know first had that a racer in Winnipeg has a 97 Sunfire 2.2 5spd, and with bolt-ons and a dry 50shot runs low 15s. I think he runs around a 15.3 sec if memory serves. I saw him race in Gimli last year. I'll see if I can find his time slips. But a high 14 second run is possible imo with a 75 shot, and bolt-ons.

If its your daily driver I would not suggest using nitrous in it at all. Because it is cold when you spray it in the cylinder it cools everything down real fast and then bang it heats up again real fast. Temperature changing that much causes to much wear and tear on the piston and piston walls for a daily driver unless you feel like rebuilding it later.
Now instead of everyone arguing like little pissants could someone please post up proof of the weight difference. I find it incredibly hard to believe how the 2200 with a cast iron block does not weigh more than the eco with an aluminum block. It is a fact that iron weighs more than aluminum due to increased density, which is also why iron is stronger and longer lasting.
