i got 2 2.5lb bottles of nos.. i can actually see it now i was wondering tho if i open the valve on the nos bottle it self it goes about 6 feet of smoke.. but when i purge it goes only like a foot i was wondering
i have 13 ft of line on EACH side. 26ft of line

is the line too long is that why im not getting a bigger cloud? should i just go to one purge and a shorter line for a bigger purge? thanx

or do i need a bigger line??

Sounds like your are losing the pressure with such long lines resulting in smaller clouds.

Plus the Rice Gods are in a bad mood this time of year. Sacrifice a honda or something that should make them happier.

Larger and shorter lines are going to allow more flow.

Also the purge solenoid is going to play a factor.

so wut about the purge selenoid?.. i dont know much about it other then its a nos brand

i think he means the flow rate of hte solenoid, i bet you may need a bigger solenoid because of those long lines, if you use a single purge, and a shorter line, you will be fine with what you got

ill try to get some bigger and shorter line i guess. instead of teh sides i mite have to just run one purge by the wipers

Well my purge shoots a good 6' at least, how much pressure is your 2.5 lb bottles have?

hmm, yeah thats kinda weak....

but on another note, the exposed lines and the zip ties, look really really tacky dude, but the purge would look sweet from there

i dont get it.. if i hold the bottle in my hand and twist the valve i shoots out a good 6-7' a heavy plume .. i think it has something to do with my skinny 26ft line it has to run thru first..

well,27 feet is a bit much, i got a 16 foot line and mine is right behind my seat, and eve 16 feet is too much, i could do with 12 feet, so im sure that a 27 foot line is a huge part of the problem

well its actually 26ft.. its 13ft to each side do u think the actual hose size is a problem?

where is your purge solenoid mounted?

you should have the bottle somewhere, like behind a seat or in the trunk, run a line from the bottle to a solenoid which is under your hood, then from the solenoid your purge line.

your purge line shouldn't be more than id say 6 to 8 feet long each

Yea but even if your line was 26' it still wouldn't purge that small of a cloud. are you sure you don't have a kink somewhere, b/c that purge looks like it's being restricted not a problem of the line. Is your actual purge line 26' ? I think you should take pics of your whole setup so we can see exactly what your doing. It's really hard to say when we arent there in person and don't exactly know how you ran it.

I have a 16' line from my bottle to my solenoids. Then I have another 6' or so of purge line and I get just a strong a cloud as if i were to crack open the bottle.

thats whats confusing me......i don't see how he could have 26 feet of purge line, thats 13 feet per side, with thta much line, i could purge out my muffler

i have the bottle behind my driver seat.. i have the purge directly on the bottle..

oh.....well thats probably the problem then

your supposed to have a hose running from the bottle to the purge solenoid, mount the soleniod under the hood (becasue in a real nitrous setup thats where the nitrous solenoid is located) then run the purge line off of the solenoid.

if you move the solenoid under the hood, i gaurentee you will have better results

going to try to pick up a hose tomorow once again more money in this dumb ass fake purge..lol oh well this should be the last thing.. do u think my actual purge lines are big enough or do i need to make those bigger??

With all the money you have spent you could probably be on the juice for real.
