hey i need some i need some info on swaping in the ecotec in my 00 z24 i blew up my ld9 and want a stronger motor what i need to need to know is besides the motor and tranny what else i need to do this swap like do the ecu wiring harness for the ecotec and is it easy on my please tell everything i need to have and know about doings i really dont want to have to put another crapy ld9 in my car thank you

thats the info. you need to search or just look at the posts on the first page. now some one lock this waste of a post.

PCM, Engine wiring harness, are needed,

black fuel lines would help make your life easier for a direct swap.

Thats all you should need unless your motor and trans are missing things.

Radiator is also a nice thing along with the coolant hoses and heater hoses.Also the inner plastic is difrent on the passenger side. Also teh bracket that holds the ecm would be nice. mine didn't come with one. make sure its out of a cavalier due to the oil pan and lower engine bracket. If you have friends ask for help. Doing it by yourself with hand tools suck.
