i am putting a new gas tank in my 96 cav because there is a nice old hole, will a fuel sending unit and pump from an 02 fit and work correctly with the 96 gas tank, lines etc?
02 is a plastic gas tank and from my experience with the gauge, The resistance readings are different. newer is 40-240 and the older is 0-90 ohms. I believe the actual pump itself is the same but that is a module unit.
