how do i take off the steering wheel front cover, i need to fix my horn, i think a wire got loose because its not working, but with the keyless entry it works...so ya how do i go by taking off the front cover of the steering wheel without damaging it?

little torx-head screws on the back of it, but the horn and the airbag is one unit, so unhook the battery and wait 10 minutes before taking it off. you could use the torx or a 7mm I believe it is.

Is your air bag light on by chance? The air bag and horn go through the clock spring which could be broken.
Im not too sure I would take apart the air bag. In order to get to the actual horn switch your going to have to take apart the air bag, or at least unpack it, I've never dont it, dont want to either.
Do this, when you get the two mounting screws out (dash side of the bag) there will be one red wire that plugs into the clock spring. hold the end opposite the bag firmly and push in a little and turn counter clockwise just a little and pull. Now take a short jumper wire from any ground and go to where you unplugged the wire from. If the horn blows then its definetly in the bag or the ground to the horn switch (the black wire under the bag).

no my airbag light isnt on, the fuse is good, and i got the SIR system turned off, buttttttttttttttttttt

im still having troubles getting the airbag unit off the steering wheel, the front cover is still on and im not sure if it matters i have an 03 model or not, that might change how to take it off maybe?

i dont know, i've been working on it for over 4 straight hours and im getting sick of this..

10mm works best

whoa 10 mm huh? well im gonna look for a set between 8 mm - 15 mm and hopefully i can do this soon...but its snowing pretty bad...damn maybe i should buy new tires first?
