Since 2000 is when class 2 electronics started i know i can't use my 00 engine harness, but I can use my ecu if i get it reflashed to a 99 (98 would be no good for me cause of egr, CORRECT??)
I found a 99 2.4L auto Alero and was wondering if i could use that harness in my cavy. I am not sure that they are the same. the fusebox is definately different and that is the reason for my question.... I PM'd Shifted (cause he said he had a bunch of wiring diagrams) and he hasnt answered yet... just wondering if anyone else could shed some light on this...
P.S. I'm ready for the torque...LOL (my B16's has 120ft. lbs. of torque
)

You can't use your ECU because the 95's were OBD-1, and 96 and up was OBD-2. You can use the 99 ECU and harness in your car.
I'll try to get those diagrams for you, I've been extremely busy at work so it may take a while. I put in over 150 hours in two weeks and no sight of it letting up soon.

damn son! 150 hrs in two weeks!!! thats bananas......
I meant i was goin to use the 2000 ECU and get it reflashed to a 99 program.
anyways i went to the junkyard and pulled the airbox off the alero. The BIG CONNECTOR (whetev) that connects the engine harness to the body harness wasnt there......there was only a loom of wires goin to a big fuse box (from the cabin). then a loom of wires coming out of the fuse box (to the engine).... I dont want to rewire anything if i dont have to.

can I use a 99 2.2L auto engine harness or does it have to be for the LD9.... i know the intake and exhaust manifolds are ass-backwards so i would think the harnesses are different (sames sensors, just in a different location on the harness)
Correct me if im wrong
