if some one is going to put that much money into a replica why not have one imported
ok why are toyo cavs such a big deal???
Because they're made in Japan
And Japan makes one of the fastest 4cyl cars in the world
The Toyota Cavy were made in the USA and nowhere near a Toyota. It's a Gm car with Toyota badge on it.
Gilles
2.3 Ho
They are all auto and right hand drive, and come with the 2.4 quad. People like to use some of the parts that they have on their cars because they weren't factory in the states....ei the cool 95-99 tails or the 2k+ tails. also the fenders the folding power mirrors, um....trunk liner rear seat with armrest, all the japenese writing on the caps and warning labels, yadda yadda yadda...........and some ot the parts arent that hard to get. Most of them can be ordered through gmparts direct.
could someone list part numbers for the toyota cavalier parts from GM?
were can i find the toyota ( sunfire ) cavalier Z24 rims?

search there are part numbers everywhere on these forums. everything is made by gm and sold by gm. go to a gm dealer and order what you want or you can go to street-line and get it cheaper.
I'm an Idiot
"The third generation model was briefly sold in Japan by Toyota, under a company agreement with GM, badged as the Toyota Cavalier, with some notable differences. Besides the fact that it was right hand drive, the Toyota Cavalier also featured a leather-wrapped shift knob and steering wheel, wider front fenders, Japanese legal taillights (with amber turn signals, per Japanese regulations), power folding rear mirrors, side turn signal repeater lights on the front fenders, and carpeting on the inside of the trunk lid. Interior seats were often flecked with color. Rear seat was folding. The Toyota Cavalier was entirely produced by GM in the USA and delivered fair sales from 1995 to 2000.
A fair number of these vehicles are re-exported as Japanese used cars, most notably to New Zealand"

I also have the '95-'99 Tails.
I think the TRD Toyota Cavalier is a much better looking car. I know it's the SAME as a US car, but the styling is MUCH nicer, AND you always want to be different from the rest of the people in your town. Every town I've lived in so far (5) in NH, I've always been the only one with Toyota Tails. Now I need to step up and keep getting more Jap parts for my car.
