Ha ha. It started at 25,000, went down to 10,000, and then down to 7,500. Finally it sold for 16,000. I personally think the car looks hideous, but obviously somebody liked it.

i would love to get my hands on the drive train.

the car itself is really terrible, it looks like a cross between a Pontiac vibe and a smart car on crack.

I thought the yellow one was a manual, and the one listed is an auto.

Yellow one is definitely an auto... read the plaque

I think the blue/silver Ass-tek clone somehow got mixed up in this thread? It's not the right car... at all.

now thats 10x better....but still ugly.

that's the one they had on TV for the auction

and after it was a prototype for the Saturn ION Redline, it wasnt s/c'ed tho it just had a different body kit/spoiler.

Niether could obtain a title cuz GM had some sort of bad vin number to prevent it, so in that case i think it killed any value these cars could of had.

I sort of recall reading back in 1998 Pontiac was testing the waters on whether a high performance version of the Sunfire would be a good seller. Obviously never got past concept stage.
