I know, I don't like these type of post either but I searched and searched on 56k for the answer and still didn't find anything. So what I am asking is what would 97 Cavalier 2 door, bare bones 5 speed, 2.2L run in the quarter mile. Im not sure what trim level it is but it has a spoiler.

Thanks

except to be slow cause your car is. anywhere from 17 to 18 seconds.
maybe with a good driver you can get high 16s. but thats pushing it

Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!

lol I know the car isn't fast. I just have one im my possesion right now and was curious how fast it is. My 93 LX sedan Civic went 16.9 with intake and adv. timing. The Cavalier feels like with similar mods should atleast do the same. My car is a 14 sec 89 Ford Probe

I pulled anywhere from 16.8 to 17.4 with my stock 2.2, 5spd.

Depends on your driving, but generally mid to low 17s.

I was happy when I heard my car ran 10s. Then I found out that was 0-60.

Well it all depends on what type of spoiler. If it has a two level aluminum one that bolts onto the trunk, you have a much faster car. Hopefully it's at least 10" tall.

Guess the ECO guys and LD9 boys do fairly well then, seems most ECO guys mildly modded get high 14's low 15's, similar with the LD9, 15's.

Well that's 150hp in the LD9 as opposed to 120/115...
