Hey guys, i was wondering if someone can help me figure out what the problem is on my brother's 98 Z24.
Everything I go over bumpy road or over a speed bump with the left wheel only, there is a knocking sound coming from the suspension. Would that be a left balljoint? The strut and springs seem to be ok when i bounce the left side from outside the car.
You can even hear the knock when to turn the steering wheel from lock to lock. The car is totally stock with about 174 000 KM ( i think that 110 000M) on it.
What You Guys Think. Any Help Will Be Appriciated

Strut mount... 21ish dollars at napa I want to say.
check your calipers too it might be a litttle loose
i would say lower control arm bushing if it's not your strut mount and if its at the front of the car..
any bets?

If it is the front strut mount, or lower control arm bushing, should i replace both sides seeing how the car is 8 yrs old?
The calipers are tight im pretty sure. My brother did his brakes like 6 months ago and it has never made this knocking sound until now. Thanks the help again all.

21 dollars all i can find them in a pair for around 80.00.. are these hard to replace i also need to replace it mine has clunked for as long as i can remember
Another cause could be broken swaybar endlinks. But the strut mount sounds more like the issue

I don't have a part number, but I got mine at napa for $21. I replaced it last fall. Are we talking front or rear?
