97 cavalier 2.2L intake help.....

Hey there guys and gals, I'm looking for a decent intake for my cavalier, I have bought one from ebay but to no prevail the damn thing doesn't fit.....I have heard of someone running a 92-95 civic intake does anyone know where I can buy an intake or anything about the civic CAI?? Don't really wanna shell out the $200 for an Injen.

i got a vibrent intake from sfxperformance.com i think it was like $80 shipped to my front door and why doesnt the other intake fit?

the cheap ebay intake had 2 nipples and my hood liner kept smashing the cone filter

i got the vibrent intake for sfx performance but i just looked on there website and they are out but when i bought mine i found another one here http://www.raceperformanceparts.com/catalog/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=25&products_id=641 and it was only like 5 or 10 bucks more. i think its a very good intake for only $80

yea but it fits and mine is a 96 and if you get a vibrent intake you will have to get one of those little valve cover breathers for that thing on your valve cover

you can get the civic intake from your local autozone / advance auto parts store. like $20. i'm pretty sure you'd have to drill a hole in it for the IAT sensor though.

hey i also have a 97 2.2, i bought my intake from ebay also. with some modifications it can work. check out my cardomain, i listed how i made it fit.
