I'm not sure about this but, are the 2.2L from a 92 and the 2200 from a 2000 basically the same other than head, valve train, and fuel system? Same block? Or am I way off?
Everything in them is different except for the block... But even the block is different. ha ha ha

the 2200 was the latest and greatest of the cavalier ohv engines, it slwoly evolved from the original and correct me if im wrong 2.0 ohv.... basically its the most reliable efficent ohv that came in the j's

^^^correct the 2200's are more reliable my 88 2.0 was nothing but problems
