Hey, I'm sure you guys are prolly tired of me asking questions about the theft light,but it's been around 3months without a car. I can't keep a job or anything because i can't be able to work around families schedules to get to work, so i really need some help, I've put a new ignition switch in, and a new gauge cluster, and it still doesn't turn off or crank and i've also tried the relearn procedure, is there anything i can buy to get around the theft system? It's costing me time and money and I'm thinking of just trading the POS in and getting an older car without the theft lock BS, oh by the way i have a 99 cavalier z24, please help if you have any ideas or such thanks!

I thought Passlock deactivated the fuel system- surely your car should still crank?

The car shouild still crank but the injectors are deactivated, the car may or may not fire a couple of times if the Passlock system is engaged.

If your car is not cranking/turning over you have a separate problem.
