Air Ride Technologies
Check this out, i was wondering if these are even worth it, or is there a better way to replace a worn out spring and strut set up like i have

Well, i'm pleased with the air ride tech kit. A little pricey, but they have good customer service. From what i've heard however, the easystreet kit (going on in the group purchase forum) is much cheaper, and pretty much the same thing. There's plenty of other options other than air ride however. Do some searching
Yea, BUT i was looking for direct bolt on and little to no maintaining...
im leary of coils, but the Gravana ones look nice
Plus there site has a lot of nice ones..
ART and Easystreet are both good kits. The ART one is a bit better, buy you pay much more.
I've heard quite a few complaints about the Gravana coilover kit already, read the GP forum.
Might think about the Tein coilover kit that they just released. Heard plenty of good things about it so far.
yea i was looking at those, but i want something that is externally adjustable so that when i want to work on my car i dont need to spend x-tra time fiddling around with jacks and blocks of wood...you know the usual headache associated with lowered cars..
buy the easystreet kit then. instant adjustment for not that much
easystreet kit is a direct bolt on and alot cheaper than art. art is good but way over price imo. ive been runnin' my easystreet kit for almost 2 years now. yesterday is the first time ive ran into a problem and i believe all i need to do is just clean the valve out.

1700$ is quite a lot i think...plus all the extra items that go with it like the tank, hooking up lines etc....
i want to do this:
order the item
open the box
install
be on my way for way under $1k
maybe i should just stick with coils then?

your not gettin' a quality air ride kit for under 1k. everything you need comes w/ the easystreet kit. maybe you need to look into it again. everything you need is there
Oh i didnt mean it like that, what i meant was that when you have an air ride you have a tank and lines (yes they are included) it isnt just like you put them in and go you have to put the tank in your car, run lines etc..thats all i meant..
im guessing thats the only way im going to get moderate height adjustability, with air

well yea but its all direct bolt up. i did mine w/o even knowin' anythin' about air suspensions. the easystreet kit comes w/ great instructions and w/ this site it was easy. all i did was assembly all the struts (ie. put the bearing and mounts on top of the bag and put the nut on top, then put the fitting on the strut). i did that for all 4 corners so i could just take out the old stuff and put the new stuff right in already assemblied. then i had the tank and valves all set up so i could just drop it in. 2 days before i put all the fittings and valves on the tank and pressure tested the tank to make sure there was no leaks. everything was connected like the compressor, water trap, valves and fittings and the gauge i bought for the pressure in the tank. once that was done all i had to do was mount the tank and compressor, then run the lines which was really easy. the hardest part was just wiring up all the valves. it was easy just time consuming because i had to wire up all 8 vavles and since it was my first time it took a little longer.
any kit you get is going to be like that
but what about height mobility?

Remember that air ride is not that great for performance. Not like a good set of struts and springs anyway. This doesn't just add vertical mobility, it decreases handling ability (comparted to after-market struts and springs).

true but not by much. granted i cant corner like i could when i had coils but i still can hit corners and off ramps and such still pretty good.

well the link you posted are just the bags themselves. if you look at it the fronts are 1k and the rear are like 800. thats 1800 right there and you still dont have, vavles, fittings, tank, compressor. if you just wanna lower your car, why not a nice simple setup like agxs and a prokit that will probably cost about 600 total tops

ART claims this to be different. Not that i'm saying that couldn't just be marketing, but my shocks can get stiffffff with dampening adjustment. Havent actually took it out enough to tell ya for sure though lol.
