hey guys, I am looking for some advice on a purchase. Somebody has koni reds for sale in the classifieds. I think they were discontinued so I can't find a price for them anywhere. What would be a good deal for a set?
They are discontinued but go for $300-350 used....

The price will vary greatly by the number of miles on them and how they were used. If they were never installed I wouldn't take less than $450. If they're lightly used more like $350. And if they've been around the block
more than once $250. This is all my personal opinion of course.
Remember that reds last as long as yellows, they just have an inconvenient was of adjusting them. So the value difference is primarily based on that.

Yeah, even though its more expensive, you have piece of mind that the person didnt abuse them. I'd be careful if the konis were mounted on coilovers, a lot of people drive around slammed, and its really hard on even konis.
