I'm just wondering if its normal for a slight vibration feeling in the brake peddal when braking at higher speeds like 80kmish. I'm asking because when driving around town my brakes feel smooth when i step on the brakes but when im slowing down to get off the highway or down mountains it kinda shakes/vibrates. Thanks for any help
Your brakes are "warped" just a little bit. it will get worse with time.
The rotors need to be resurfaced. If you can take them off yourself, do so. Bring them in, it will be <$25 at almost any place to get them resurfaced.
After you put them back on, bed them.

CTS should the pads be replaced when you resurface or replace the rotors ?
I have a friend in NC who has the same problem and I can't see for myself if the pads would be messed up ( anything else you wanna throw in there is cool too ). just don't want her to get ripped of for stuff she doesn't need.
Pads should be fine there a much softer material than the rotors.
Go easier on your rotors till you can get some powerslots.
My stock rotors went "out of spec"/"warped"/"uneven wear" etc etc.... I had them resurfaced 2x, then I got powerslots and Hawk pads, and I have yet to get any shimmy out of the brakes, and it stops better now too.
If your still running on stock rotors or stock replacements they'll just keep getting to the shimmying again unfortunately. The stock rotors are of really poor quality.
NO THE SHIMMY IS NOT NORMAL

Stock rotors do suck in any heavy use. But they will work just fine for the average person.
Replace the pads if they are significantly worn, or if you just want to. Ceramic pads are the only thing I will put on my family's cars anymore, they are kind of expensive, but last forever and put out extremely little dust. I run ceramic pads on my daily driver.
thanx for the help im just going to go buy new rotors then. I've been meaning to do it anyways.
