quick air ride question
Monday, October 17, 2005 12:01 PM
ill be puting in my air ride over the winter, and i've been reading alot about the whole system, and i came across a post that ESB was saying he had in struts along with his bags. this kinda confused me.

do you have to have other struts along with the bags? from all i've read over the months, i've never heard that. or does that just control the suspension a little better?

also, if you were to use struts along with the bags, would you want to use stock struts, or a good set? cuz you would think if you had good struts in there as well, slamming the car on air would kill those struts. maybe im wrong, but could someone help me clear this up. i was hoping to sell my good suspension when i got the bags. any help is really appreciated

sorry for the long post

are you planing on buying a full set-up? if so most places that you can buy the fronts or rears for come w/ the struts and bags together. esb made his own custom setup in the rear and just purchased bags and didnt have struts w/ it

^^ahh, i see. its the whole easystreet kit that im buying, so i guess it must come with struts. but if it didnt, would stock struts be ok to use, cuz if that were the case, i wouldnt want to ride my D-specs with em when slamming the air.

no there different struts designed to ride at low heights all the time. easystreet sells the struts seperately. i think esb said they were like 95 bucks each when he needed a new front strut
