i am looking for misc. susp. stuff and i have an ad in the classifieds, well i was contacted by a fellow .org member and he said he would sell me these for $45.....
well since these came on the car when he bought it he has no idea what brand they are and neither do i.
so he sent me a pic and now im tring to determine if these are decent coilovers or if they are equal to the garbage like whats on ebay.
well heres a pic that he sent.
btw. if anyone else has any aftermarket misc. susp. stuff(springs, dampers, braces, etc.) you are tring to get rid of let me know via e-mail
heres the pic
thanks for any info you can give me

hmm, i don't see any bearings on the top hat...
i'd say they're garbage, like the stuff on ebay
HP racing. They are junk. Same as any other crap that they have on Ebay.
I saw that same setup with red springs when I was holding a set of dropzones....
I don't even see a threaded sleeve to adjust them on! Is there 1" worth of sleeve with the perches around it just sitting on the spring seat?
heh. There are only 2 sleeve kits worth using for our cars and both use the Ground Control style single spring perch.
Those are in fact HP Racing. I used to have a set. They are poorly made and the spring rates are UBER high. They were a lot of fun when autocrossing but a pain in the butt (and the back and neck) when driving on the streets.
Also, like the weas said, someone forgot a pretty major part when they installed those: THE SLEEVE.
Stay away from those like a $5 hooker screaming that it burns when she pees.
