Yes they make quite a difference. I am stock and when i put them on, along with a sub frame brace, it really made my car feel like a whole new vehicle to me.
the front make a huge difference , and the rear is so-so
I felt a big difference. I am using the GM brace on the front and freedom design's on the rear and I am very happy. Should you get your hands on the GM brace bolt it down to the firewall (I noticed an even better difference with this). The vibrant bars that Gravana has are supposed to be pretty decent as well.
i have the vibrants in my car.. and yes its a night and day difference. mind you i installed them in the winter and i'm on my steelies ( winters) i'm sure that i'll notice more when i install the subframe brace and the rear sway,
2 words....
DOOOOO IT!
I have a Vibrant. I noticed a difference when I put mine on. Especially when corning at high speeds, your wheels can make a better attempt to stay on the ground lol.
Also, as 97cavie was saying, you'll notice a bigger difference on the front then you will on the back. Simply because your front wheels are whats turning.

its well worth it.
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
A sway bar makes more of a difference than a strut tower bar. If your suspension is stock, get a rear sway bar first if you have the cash.

yeah i just got one from a junkyard, i felt a diff.
"Official Jewish J-Body"

i made my own FSTB and i noticed a diff but i think that the control arm bushings made a bigger diff. then a performance alignment made a bigger diff, that changed the entire attitude of the car. now with all the work done it feels like a real sports car.
see ya!

how much was a performance allignment, and how exactly is it different then normal. and what does it affect?

the rear will make a bigger difference if you have a rear anti-sway bar. the reason being that you are putting more strain on the the rear suspension. the rear STB will tie the towers together and allow less flex. someone had a really cool .Gif that showed how your towers flex when the towers are subjected to road conditions. all in all what the STB's do for you is to make your handling more consistent.
Mike: did you ever get your Yellows?
ok.. my question is will it make much of a difference on a stock suspension.. not a stock suspension that had sway bars and sh!t like that.. just plain old stock.. what can i expect out of "just" the bars themselves?

Does anyone have some close up pics of the vibrant bars from Gravana?
If your willing to spend 150 on a rear sway bar, the sway bar will make a HUGE difference in handling on stock springs/shocks.
The strut tower bars make a minute difference in comparrison with the sway bar, but still noticable.
You can expect more consistent steering under hard cornering with the strut braces. A sway bar will make your steering more neutral, so when you turn a corner the back end will follow the front instead of the front just plowing through the corner (what the necks refer to as a push).
hey Eazy did the front vibrant bar fit your eco good. did you have to move your computer and cruise control. i have the rear and i have beening hesitating buying the front because of fitment. i guess its not much work to to move those.

zach....... awesome awesome awesome picin your sig man....
Thanks Brandon.
Sniper, its not a lot of work to move that stuff. I believe if you are really lazy the DC Sports bar doesn't require you move that stuff (double check that though, I'm not 100% positive).

HELP x 100
I've got the 1998 Sunfire with the Cruise Control Module by where the strut tower would connect. It's even worse because i have the 5 speed manual and aftermarket air induction piping. Where could/would I need to put the module so that fitment would work. All/any ideas are so greatly appreciated. thanks
freedom design front and rear love'em both
