i've had the slotted/drilled ones. they cracked on me but im thinkin that's because i auto-x w/ them and they aren't really geared for excessive use. the black areas didn't last long.

my carDomain updated 3/2/10 Forged and Supercharged

Try messaging Spalattero. I picked him up a set last spring. I've been to their shop and seen their work, and it seems quality, but I haven't personally driven on a set yet. They offer two levels of rotor. The better one is a Centric Parts rotor (good quality stock replacement) which they machine and powdercoat at their shop. They are powdercoated throughout the vanes and every surface that is not contacted by the pads. The lower quality it just powdercoated at the hats, and they are a generic rotor. I would contact them and ask, but I believe the $98 pair for the J-body is the Centric Parts one.

Have some of their slotted rotors my 03 cav. But i've only had them on the car for like 150 miles, so don't have much experience with them yet, they fit good, and looked to be good quality but only time will tell.

In the interest of other people wanting more info on DRT rotors.
I got the premium ones you can see HERE.

Have put about 10,000 miles on these since last June. They are holding up great as far as the powder-coating and holes/drills.
They also show no wear in performance. I've put a lot of stress on them here and there auto crossing and a couple of highway runs braking hard. They get a little heated like expected but little braking power/pedal feel is lost.

PM if you have any other questions.

if you do get these rotors, do the .org a favour. get some measurements. micrometer measurements. overall rotor thickness, air gap size, and vane shape/ type/count.
