Greetings,

I believe My Ever-Faithful Cavalier needs new rear springs, i replaced the rear struts and they are bottoming when i have a 2 passenger on the back. So after looking for prices and comparing i am either buying the OEM Springs or getting Tien s. Since the price difference is minimum, i am having a hard time choosing between the oem springs or the tiens. im replacing all 4 springs since my car has 186,000 miles. This is my Daily driver. Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Your going to have about $200 in stock replacements (MOOG $177.98 F&R), so you might consider performance springs unless your wanting to retain stock ride.

your better off gettting h-tech from tiens. unless you want to buy more shocks. s-tech are going to blow sooner or later. even with the h-tech or any other lowering springs they will blow.

vote for h.techs + tokico hp's or kyb gr2s for struts. kyb agxs if you want some adjustability. you should be able to get away with well under 500 is you shop around
