I am looking to lower my car with either the Eibach Pro kit or Sportlines. I would like go with the sportlines for the lower stance, but don't know if my tires would rub or not. (They're not on the car right now since it's winter, so I can't measure)
I have 215/50/17 tires on a 2004 Cavalier and I would rather not have to roll my fenders.
Anybody know if the tires would rub or not?
Thanks in advance

well its hard to tell without knowing the width and offset of the rim. also 215/50/17 is bigger than whats needed for our cars, you could have gotten away with a 215/45/17 which would keep your overall diameter much closer.
btw i hope your upgrading the struts too and not just throwing those sportlines on stock struts. if so you may eventually have a problem with the fender hitting the tire when the car bottoms out.
^^^ that.
x2
another popular tire size is 225/45, lil wider, lil taller, depedns on what you can fit.
Of course there is going to be a strut upgrade. Gotta do it right the first time.
Don't know about the offset of the rim, but they are 17x7.
Here is a link to the rim:

i doubt it will be a problem.
You shouldnt have any problem.
ive got 225/45's on a 35mm offset 7" wide rim on sportlines with a fat driver and have NEV ER rubbed once.
Are you scared of the changes coming? The answer is on the inside.
Excellent, this is all great news. The sportlines will be on order very soon I think (along with some Koni Yellows).
