Who all wants to be a guinea pig???

Ok, it has come time for some people to try out the new kid in town. Please note, their web site is down for a revamp. so pictures are currently limited. I should be posting more up as I get them.

I am offering up several sets of STD coilovers at my cost (dealer cost). In order to receive my price on these items, you are required to write a review with pictures of the following:

1) installation
2) ease of use and adjustment
3) road handling/ride quality
4) track handling.

and after you have had them for a while...

5) longevity

The reason I am doing this is so I can get some REAL non-biased reviews of this product. From people with different driving experience, and driving types.

THESE DO NOT HAVE TO BE GOING ON A J-BODY, I AM LOOKING FOR REVIEWS FOR DIFFERENT TYPES OF VEHICLES, WITH DIFFERENT COILOVER SYSTEMS AND DIFFERENT RACING TYPES (auto-x, drifting, rally, etc)

A little about the STD suspensions:

All STD's suspensions are a mono-tube design with high quality materials.
They allow for full suspension travel, and retain more suspension travel even at lowered ride heights.
Also, all STD's suspensions now have a "scaled suspension" for easier installation and adjustment.

If this is not enough for you, you can upgrade to custom springs, at the spring rate YOU choose to match your driving style and skill.

They offer several different coilovers, for several different applications and driving types. Not all packages are available for all applications. Contact me for application details.

S1 - basic coil over kit:
- full length adjustment from the lower mount
- separate ride height and spring pre-load adjustments
- aluminum alloy construction: lower mount, top mount, spring seat, and locks,
- forged aluminum top mount

R1 - the next step
- includes all the features of the S1 kit
- R1 adds multi-position manual damping forces adjustment. which allows you to set your handling and ride comfort.
- each application has a different number of pre-set damping preset positions

R3/R5 - "weekend racer" suspension packages
- both the R3 and R5 have all the features of the R1
- the R3 model includes a front pillow ball mount
- the R5 model includes front and rear pillow ball mounts
- pillow ball mounts feature a forged aluminum camber adjustment plate (on McPherson strut applications)

R7 - time attack king suspension & drift king sidewayz
- features include everything on the R5 model (front and rear pillow-ball mounts)
- has increased damping forces
- has special racing fluid
- these features will allow you to feel a greater difference in each position of the manual damping
- these are designed for roll cage track/drift cars

Circuit ENB/ENB II - track racing suspension
- include custom springs to match the drivers skills
- include all the features of the R7 system
- ENB features an external nitrogen bottle
- ENB II features an adjustable external nitrogen bottle

ENB for Lotus Elise & Exige
- a premier suspension set up specifically for Lotus applications that have a shorter shock.
- includes all the features of the R1
- includes external nitrogen bottle

ENB 44 - Rally Suspension systems (for traditional and road rallies)
- Includes all the features of the R7
- fluid specifically designed for rally use
-adjustable external nitrogen bottle
-44mm seamless steel tubes inverted shock style

ENB 55 - Pro Rally Suspension system
- This is the ONLY suspension that does NOT feature the "scaled suspension"
- 55mm seamless steel tube inverted style shock
- Hard Alloy Construction
- increased damping force
- special race fluid for rally use
- Independent compression and rebound adjustments
- adjustable external nitrogen bottle/tank
- forged lower and upper mounts

Also available at a discount with this offer:
- Camber Kits
- Forged adjustable upper rear mounts
- pulleys
- Lower arms
- Cam Gears
- Wheel spacers
- Big brake kits
- promotional apparel and decals/banners

Due to the dealer agreement with STD, all prices will remain confidential at this point. Hopefully that will change, and I can publicly post the prices I can offer for this one time deal.

I am also waiting for a final price for this GP. I can post up retail price for the systems for J-bodies:

STD S1 is $1080
STD R1 is $1260
STD R3 is $1386

I am still working out the details, but you should be getting one of these with your order:

This is a limited offering, and I will open it to 6 people. Please ask any questions here, or PM me. if you fully intend to go through with this, sign up, put your screen name, real name, car, and desired package (please make sure that package is offered for that car first).

1. I SATCHMOE YOU!!!! (Jeff) - R3 - Cavalier
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

Once I get some reviews back, I will be setting up a GP for these. The GP will be at a reduced cost, but no where near the price these will be going for.

Any questions feel free to email/pm me or post it up. I will link to their website once it is back up.

Thanks

Like I said, you dont have to be putting these on a cav.

They can be for anything, and they have listings for:

Acura, Alfa, Audi, BMW, Chevy, Chrysler, Citroen, Dodge, Fiat, Ford, Honda, Infinity, Lexus, Lotus, Mazda, Mercedes, Mini, Mitsu, Nissan, Pontiac, Peugeot, Porche, Renault, Saturn, Scion, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, VW, and Volvo.

They do NOT offer an in-car, electronic damping controller at this time.

^^^Ill give you a hefty discount if you do get another set.

Also, I think if there is a strong enough demand for systems not made for a particular application, I am confident we could get them made.

if I have the money to pull out of my ass I will

I'm tired of my grav's getting screwed up in the front.. pillowballs will eliminate all my coilover- woes but still give me double ride height adjustability WOOT.

I've never had a problem with my rear strut mounts but OEM makes solids I could get later so I'm not worried about them
