Hey guys, hopefully you can help me! I just got the sportlines and D-spec shocks on my car. Three of them adjust easily with the adjuster tool. The driver side rear, however, does not move at all! I go to twist it and it won't budge. Any ideas of what should be done? It's after hours at Tokico right now, so I can call them in the morning at the earliest. Thanks a lot.

I had this problem with my D-spec shocks as well, except both of my rears were like that. Once it gets past about 4 or 5 turns from full soft it gets really hard to turn. How I would adjust them is I put the adjuster tool in the top of the rear strut and used a small screwdriver or punch and stuck it in the hole at the top of the adjuster tool. It gives you more leverage and makes it easier to turn. I am not sure how to fix the strut so that you don't have to adjust it like that but if you figure it out i would like to know. I hope that helps.
I'll be calling Tokico tomorrow, I'll let you know what I find out. Anyone else have any input? Also I don't know what you mean about using a screwdriver? There's no hole in the top of the adjuster tool, it's flat.

Maybe the adjuster tool you have is different then mine, but mine has a small hole at the top. I think its there so that you could put it on a key chain or something.
They told me silicone spray, and use a 3mm allen wrench to try to loosen it up. I did that and no luck. Gonna try again on Sunday, and then call them back on Monday.
And Matt, the adjuster I have is definitely flat on the top. The storage thing it screws into has a hole on top though.

UPDATE: Warranty was extremely smooth. Got a replacement part as quickly as they could ship it. The only issue was the replacement part was ALSO stuck and wouldn't adjust!!!!!!!!!!!! So I grabbed an allen wrench and just said I'm going to adjust this thing. Well it would turn relatively easy with the allen wrench. So then I put the Tokico adjuster tool back in -- no movement with it still. OK --- So then I took the allen wrench and just moved it back and forth (toward full hard a quarter spin. then toward soft a quarter spin. repeat). This did the trick and loosened it up. The Tokico adjuster tool then worked and I adjusted the shock.
So I couldn't find anything on this topic when I searched the internet after it happened to me..... so I figured I would post my results to help any future owners with issues.
