I need to go buy the torx socket or whatever its called to take off my wheel hub. Only thing is I don't know the size, I'd get under there an take everything off but I'm hoping to only do it once so I can replace some studs and get my inspection sticker. If anyone knows wat size it is thatd be great they are like five bucks a piece at autozone and don't feel like going and swapping them everytime I get the wrong sized one haha
i dont usually take off the bearing to change studs, I cut a small chuck of the base off, and slide them up in there (sometimes they still need some "persuasion")
i didnt need a torx socket either. if yoy position it right, you can manage to get the stud through. it does damage the stud a tiny bit but nothing that is serious.

Well its cuz I've slided them in like that before and those always seem to be the ones that get crossthreaded or damaged lol, one more question wat size is the axle one? I know there are only like three different ones they rent out at autozone but don't wanna get the wrong one, thanks guys
the axle nut? i thought it was 29mm?
some of the factory axle nuts are 29, but most aftermarket, and some factory are also 30.
If you get the 30, and have a 29, you can still use it (its close enough it wont round the axle nut)
Another question I've never attempted to take off the axle nut without an impact gun how hard would it be to take it off with a ratchet with the use of a cheater pipe or something?
Cheater pipe makes it easy.
I used to race cars, now I race myself.

30mm for the nut on the hub. use an impact gun to rip it off especially if its never been removed. makes life alot easier. the 3 bolts that hold the hub on are a t 50 torque bit.
