Suspension slop!

Yup you boys were right I am a complete moron. I lowered the car w/ a 2in skunk 2 coils and generic koni struts. I tightened up the control arm bolts but apparently not exactly to the right torque specs. I went to torque them down aft backing them off. I started w/ the front 90ft lbs and rear 125ft lbs. I didn't even make it past the front bolt when I heard snap, not click from the wrench. (side Note Craftsman torque wrench really sucks!) the front bolt snapped. I was able to remove it and continue to screw the bolt out threw the back. Thank god for GM they make the most idiot mechanic friendly car there is. I was able to swap the snapped bolt for another one that was in the brace just in front of the passenger side control arm that I was working on. But here comes my next dilemma. This I need advice on. I noticed that the front hole for the front control arm in the engine cradle became a bit larger in diameter due to my slacked bolt and the arm jostling. So for now just to get me to and from I made a shim. I know the other side will have the same issue. What would you guys suggest? I want to install a sway bar any way so do I A: buy a new cradle from gm parts direct, they I think go for $3-$400.00 and throw in fresh hardware or B: buy a junkyard special, Or C: just make some quality shims and go at it as is. I like the car so spending the money on a new/ used cradle is worth it to me, but would the shims be a complete waste of time? Any help would be appreciated. I cant thank you guys enough for the help you have already given. sincerely thanks to all very, very much..
