96 m/t n-body front swap issues

I have a 96 cav with a 2.2L M/T and I tried to swap the front brakes but the cav axle is to small in the splines to fit in the Grand am stuff(2000 Grand am) any sugestions?

N+W+F swap sticky. All of that will need to be done if i understand it correctly.

This doesn't address it. I ran into the same issue. Some of the axles from the J-body will not fit into the CV joint on the N-body. You have to get the axle from the 2.4 car with the MT. This is not with all years, though. I believe it is just with 95-96. I think when they switched to the 2200, GM got smart and started using the same axles for all J-bodies, instead of the smaller one for the OHV.

thanks ill order some axles from a 2.4L m/t car and try them and let you all know thanks for the help
