hey just wondering if anyone used smaller rotors than the impala rotors which come in at 11.9'' . i was thinking of the w bodies rotors which come in at 10.9 . i would like to keep my 16's but it looks like with the 11.9 i have to go 17. just wondering if they will work with the camaro caliper ?
as you posted in the other thread, I'm sure plenty of 16"s will clear the W/F-body setup.

true i have 16's
(enkei's) on my subaru with 10.9 rotors and they barely clear the caliper. there is like a half an inch clearance. thats what i asked about the grand prix rotors cause they are 10.9''. there is no way an 11.9'' rotor would fit with my 16s on the subaru , so i was just making sure that the camaro caliper on the malibu knuckle would fit 16''s with the 11.9''. i mean thats only leaving 4 ''s for the caliper to clear. its got to be super tight!!!!!!!
anyone have pic of 16's fitting with the swap??? or of 17's on a second gen? 17's seem like they would be too big to fit the second gen wheel well????
17's too big to fit on a second gen? LOL. ppl have fit 19's on a second gen.
as for pictures, i posted pictures somewhere here of my aftermarket 16s on a nwf swap. granted i have a different style caliper than the camaro caliper, but it does fit. it's a tight fit, but its not bad at all.
any
stock 16's ever made will NOT fit.

wow 19's on a second gen??? did they look good ? i mean your not talking about some ghettoness are u? like where your tires rub making a turn at a stop sign? or your wheels are sticking out 6 ''s past the wheel well?
its just when i go to tire rack they dont even offer a 17'' wheel for the sunbird . why are they thinking they are too big?
does anyone have pictures they can send me or post here? of second gens with this swap ? what kind of wheels is everyone else using for it?
i know the last guy said he used steel wheels and they fit and stuff but it doesnt help me out to not know the dimensions of those wheels.
if your going to post please state the dimensions of your wheels that ft please.
also upon futher inspections , i might have upgraded my subie rotors to 11.5's . i forget ill have to measure them. but if thats the case then 16's should fit this set up and fill the entire wheel up real nice. i just dont want to spend a grand on wheels and rubber to find out im off by like a 1/4 '' or something gay.
