FAQ
The GR-2's are OEM replacements, I would go with the KYB AGX if I was you.
I read on gravana that you cant install these if your running the factory 16'' rims. Anyone tried this and had problems.

Good lord. Yes, you'll need to buy a very expensive set of aftermarket 18" wheels and tires, since they're bigger than factory, and therefore can't rub.
Please don't believe everything you hear. Why wouldn't you be able to use an OEM replacement damper with factory wheels?
Did you use the front stock mount plates with bearings? I ask because I just picked up the stock strut mount plates for the front.
sorry, just saw you posted here again asking a question. yes, i used the stock mounts. i replaced the bearing when i did mine, the rest is stock.

Well... to be fair, I believe there was an issue with the GR2's when they first came out where the spring perch was bigger than stock (or some such thing) and could make contact with the factory 16's, so this topic isn't entirely out of left field.
Of course, that issue was resolved shortly after the first batches came out, which was YEARS ago.
