ok i want to lower my grand am a lil bit, so i want to put shocks and struts on....whats a good cheap nice riding setup that will last? any ideas thnks

well first of all this is a jbody forum

but even so, for a nice ride and safe drop, 500 is about average. go to aplusperformance or carcustoms.net

well its pretty much the same setup but i have individuals and j's have torsion bars correct

yes, just let a little tension out of the torsion bars to drop the front...

cheap and nice riding do not go together. sorry.

we just did my buddy's 02 grand am gt on KYB agx struts and eibach pro kit springs with all new mounts, dust boots and everything, came to about $1200. for some reason the agx's for a grand am are about $200 more than a cavalier's and they aint THAT much different which is really retarded.

his car handles beautifully and rides decent.
